www.demotown.localbiz.co.uk - is used in the first student exercise "The Enterprise Quiz". The website contains a mixture of real and imaginary businesses and organisations. For example, Skipton Building Society is real, and Web Design Services is imaginary – but it could be true. These have been added to the Demotown website to show how the business directory and search services work. Enterprising students will also see opportunities for starting - and advertising - their own small businesses within their community.

Why not try the Quiz yourself, and then with a group of students? There's no charge ... it's here for you to use. You will need three documents; click on each in turn to obtain:
