| The Teamwork Programme takes between 20 and 30 hours, and can therefore be completed in an academic year at only 1 hour per week. It generates the evidence required for the "Working With Others" Key Skill, worth points equivalent to ¾ GCSE. This accredited qualification can be obtained from all of the major examination boards, and is non-examinable. Students must demonstrate through a portfolio of work that they have both the required knowledge for working with other people, and the ability to put that knowledge into practice. The student workbook which accompanies this programme is designed to provide that evidence. On completion of the Programme, teachers can give students "The LocalBiz Award for Teamwork". | |
Within the programme, students undertake two assignments, one as a whole group, and one working in pairs. The programme is teacher assessed, and successful completion is rewarded by a certificate. The student material created can also be used as evidence for the "Working With Others" wider key skill.
